The Dryades estate is located on the north-eastern edge of Levidi, in the vicinity of Aghia Marina, opposite ancient Orchomenus and the rugged line of mountains which surround the plain.

With an amazing view of the Levidi plain, miniature acorn-bearing oaks surround an area of 11 acres lavishly planted with walnut, almond and oak trees: this is the setting for the newly-designed Museum of Art and History, a 4-star guesthouse with accommodation for thirty-one persons, and 17 luxurious mountain residences, ranging in size from 120 to 300 square metres.

At the gateway to Mainalos – land of the pastoral idyll – renowned for its part in the history of the first years of the Greek War of Independence and birthplace of the father of the first Greek Republic, Alexandros Papanastasiou, Levidi offers the visitor hospitality in a beautiful mountain climate, at a height of 850m and just 90 minutes from Athens.

 

 

 

 

The Ostrakina Ski Center

 

Just 15 minutes away is the Ostrakina ski centre with excellent pistes, chalets with a restaurant and refuge. There are one-day excursions to the picturesque villages of Vytina, Dimitsana, Stemnitsa, Karytaina and Langadia, the historic monasteries of Arcadia, Pheneos and Kleitoria, the villages of Parnon and the beaches of Kynouria. The rivers Ladonas and Lousios are ideal for rafting, off-road driving, horse riding and other mountain activities.
